About Me

Connor Cook is a graduate of George Mason University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Game Design. Connor has always believed from the very beginning in the power of storytelling through games. Through epic tales of bravery and struggle, we expand our own ability to think and understand the lives of people outside of our own experience. Through games we can connect with people around the world and bring people closer together through the  shared struggles and victories of the games we make.

Art and Animation play an integral role in this storytelling process. Through small details in motion and appearance, Game Artists are giving more depth to a world that might otherwise feel flat. Connor is passionate about including compelling visuals in his games. In all projects he has worked on Connor collaborates heavily with the writers to make sure that their shared vision for the game can be expressed fully on the screen.

Connor is well trained in many different aspects of Game Design, with a focus on Art and Animation. Connor has been a successful artist on many school projects and is currently lead Animator on his Senior Capstone project, “Bullet no Bullet,” a 3D shoot-em-up style game made with Unity. Other programs Connor is proficient with include Unreal 4, 3DS max, Blender, Maya, and Photohop.

Connor’s main skills are 3D Modeling of characters, and making original art in Photoshop.
